Strengthening preparedness. Advancing safety. Building global capability.
#ONGC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CUDD Pressure Control, USA, on 29 June 2026 to further enhance its specialised blowout control and well control capabilities.
The collaboration brings together ONGC’s strong indigenous Crisis Management Team, extensive operational experience and emergency-response readiness with CUDD’s global expertise in complex well control operations. It will facilitate knowledge transfer, capacity building, exposure to international technologies and benchmarking against global safety standards.
Building on the successful collaboration during the control of Well RDS#147 in Assam Asset, the partnership reinforces ONGC’s commitment to a stronger, faster and more effective emergency-response framework.

At an altitude of over 14,000 feet in the demanding terrain of Puga Valley, Ladakh, #ONGC Energy Centre has successfully drilled India’s second geothermal well to its target depth of 1,000 metres, in a record time of approximately one month.
Building on the success of India’s first geothermal drilling campaign, the achievement marks a major leap in technical capability, with significantly optimised drilling operations, deeper understanding of Puga’s complex geology, and substantial reduction in drilling cost.
The milestone now paves the way for India’s first 1 MWe pilot geothermal power plant and opens new possibilities for the commercial development of geothermal energy in the country.
OEC’s first geothermal well had earlier produced steam above the boiling point, firmly establishing the viability of Puga’s #geothermal resources for sustainable power generation and placing India on the global geothermal map.
For Ladakh, this breakthrough holds the promise of clean, reliable baseload power, stronger energy security, and sustainable regional development.
From deep beneath the Himalayas, ONGC is unlocking a powerful new chapter in India’s clean energy journey.

Walking together for cleaner habits and a cleaner nation.

Some achievements are so monumental that numbers alone can barely capture them.
The Rajasthan Refinery is a testament to bold planning, relentless execution, and engineering excellence on an extraordinary scale.
What once was a vast stretch of desert is steadily evolving into a landmark of innovation, resilience, and industrial transformation, reflecting India's growing capability to deliver projects that redefine what's possible.

Located in Hisar (Haryana), Rakhigarhi is the largest known archaeological site of the Indus-Saraswati Civilisation, spanning approximately 550 hectares, significantly larger than both Harappa and Mohenjo-daro.
Major excavations at the site have revealed advanced urban planning, sophisticated craftsmanship, a large lapidary workshop, drainage systems, wells, and a substantial cemetery.
Many scholars believe it may have served as a major provincial capital or an important regional center of the Indus-Saraswati Civilisation.
These discoveries firmly establish that the heart and largest expanse of the Indus-Saraswati Civilisation thrived across a vast area of Bharat.
Ongoing research and preservation efforts at Rakhigarhi continue to provide deeper insights into this ancient civilisation and its profound roots in Indian history.

In Egypt, Copt Christians, the descendants of ancient Egypt, are humiliated and forced to work as garbage collectors.
They are denied most forms of employment and called “Garbage People”, because Muslims consider Christians dirty.
This is life for Christians under Islamic rule.

Jyoti Gulia Wins Gold in 48KG boxing category.😍
Many congratulations to Jyothi Yarraji on becoming Asia's fastest woman in the 100m hurdles by winning gold at the 65th National Inter-State Senior Athletics Championships.
After a year-long battle with injury, she has not just returned to the track but displayed an indomitable spirit, outpacing the field in a brilliant 12.99s.
She brought double delight to the nation as, apart from winning gold, she earlier in the day clocked 13.14s to meet the qualifying standard for the 20th Asian Games Aichi–Nagoya 2026.
His name was G. D. Naidu.
He was born in 1893 in a small village near Coimbatore, into a farming family.
He hated school, left after the third standard, and never returned to formal education.
As a teenager, he saw a British officer riding a motorcycle and could not believe a vehicle could move without an animal pulling it.
Determined to own one, he left his village, worked for nearly three years as a waiter in a hotel, and saved every coin until he could buy a motorcycle.
Then he did something unusual.
He took the entire machine apart, piece by piece, simply to understand how it worked.
By putting it back together again, he taught himself to be a mechanic.
That curiosity changed his life.
He began with a single bus that he drove himself and eventually built one of the finest bus services in the country.
In 1937, at his workshop in Coimbatore, he built India’s first indigenous electric motor.
That invention played a major role in transforming Coimbatore into one of India’s leading industrial cities.
He did not stop there.
Over his lifetime, he developed more than a hundred inventions, including an electric razor that won international recognition, ultra thin shaving blades, a tamper proof voting machine, a fruit juice extractor, an affordable radio for ordinary homes, and even a small two seater car, though he was denied a licence to manufacture it.
People began calling him the Edison of India.
Nobel laureate C. V. Raman described him as a man in a million.
A boy who walked away from school after the third standard spent the rest of his life teaching a nation how to build.
