@Olushegz Cheap option. We only have one striker and Gakpo useless up front. Why splash £50-70mil on another one when we have Ekitike recovering. Get Nunez in, give him a year contract even, decent wages and then we have a backup who had already settled into the club.

@Stunner_Lfc Yes. Good backup, we need cover for Ekitike until he comes back, Nunez high pressing as well which will be needed under Iraola. Even if it’s just a 1 year contract. Knows the club and plays for the badge. Look past the finishing and he’s a good player imo

@ATLiverpool_ Most of his attacking partners were sold, the whole team was set up differently to the previous season. That has a huge effect on any attacker. There are plenty of variables you are not considering. If you think it’s as simple as physicality then you are being short sighted.
