Huge budget for cidermakers & cider lovers alike. A penny for the thoughts of @Chiefhawker who has been campaigning for craft cider duty relief and a simplification of the made-wine tax on fruit ciders for YEARS!
Might crack open a bottle of @piltoncider tonight to celebrate.
As expected Sunak changing duty rules for booze - stronger drinks will be taxed more heavily, cuts for cider and rose, rises for heavy reds... and 'draft relief' will cut tax on pints from the pump... https://t.co/bju8NiZ4xi
Cider, or wine? Devon has award-winning versions of both, thanks to its warm, damp climate and passionate, knowledgeable producers. @FoodDrinkDevon@FurrowCider@Huntscider@ostlersmill @luscombedrinks Read our feature here:

So proud and happy to be introducing you to Dancing Required, our first collaboration with @queerbrewing. I could not be more excited about it. A frankly gorgeous cider made using four of the finest cider apples, with incredible artwork from Charlotte.
Wide smiles having just won Supreme Champion for our Dry Farmhouse Cider...especially pleased to be bringing the cups home to Devon!! @CiderReviewAdam @fooddrinkdevon @royalbathandwest #devoncider#realcider#hurrah#bathandwest

@totalcurtis Agree with a lot of what you said. Except ‘Old Rosie’ isn’t a buxom wench, she’s an old steam roller. Yes! I did listen to the end 🙌 #wassail! @WestonsOldRosie
Kegged a blend of 2019 & 2020 Thorn today, a 4-1 ratio, which will complete it's 2020 fermentation in the keg. Got to rep the pioneers: @LittlePomona. Keg Conditioned Cider & Perry did very well this year, despite pandemic. Next year I'm really excited.
Out of kilter. One of two Billy Down Pippin apple trees flowering in #Dorchester's Heritage Orchard today. Originally from Membury near Axminster, it is a cider/dessert variety with (usually) an early to mid flowering period. Fruit sparse this year.
We launched an exciting project marking #CiderMonth yesterday! Want some clues? 👀
