Hundred Thousands of Innocents including Women & Children were crippled by these land mine in 1990 & Followed Couple of Years. Almost 2Million Land Mines were Ported in Somaliland Habitable areas to stop returnees ever return. Half of the minefields were in Hargeisa and Burao.

@addisstandard S/Land is one of Arab league as Art 10/8 of its constitution states that "the state of S/Land has its place among the Arab nations the peoples of Africa & Islamic World, & shall accordingly endeavour to join the UN, the AU, the Arab League and Organisation of Islamic States"
