@CyclingInKK There's one in every town, probably doesn't even know why they did it. Some drivers just can't bear to wait behind a bike, though if you think that's bad you should see some of the manoeuvres they take around tractors
This weekend I hope to cycle through every county on our beautiful island, covering 900km in 48 hours. I’m cycling in solidarity with the hundreds of cyclists & pedestrians who are seriously injured on Irish roads every year. We need to do so much more to protect them. @IrishRainforest Indeed, but it does allow those who want to rewild to do so and get paid while doing it, albeit through the forestry budget rather than the agriculture one. All of which raises the question should there be a separate biodiversity/environment budget all on it's own?
