Happy 4th of July! I spent my day at the Washington Celebrates America parade with @KeanForCongress, @JamesRKernIII, @cinfo0316, and other local elected officials. There’s not a moment that goes by where I’m not grateful for living in the greatest country in the world 🇺🇸 🦅
New: The White House has directed the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to pull a heavily flawed list of sanctuary jurisdictions that included some pro-Trump counties in New Jersey.

“New Jersey cannot afford to be a sanctuary for illegal immigration while our own citizens struggle with rising costs and strained public resources. Enforcing the law is not a radical idea—it is a fundamental responsibility of government.” -@JamesRKernIII https://t.co/UggXhlYhcS
Almost 4 weeks since the first, reported, NJ drone sighting, it’s clear that global drone technology has evolved faster than the U.S. government’s tactical, legal, and regulatory capabilities to identify, assess, and respond to it. The Federal government’s failure to lead is the singular cause of this crisis.
Almost 4 weeks into NJ’s drone invasion, there’s no clear answer, accepted theory, or recognized solution. People are told to dial 1-800-CALL-FBI and report sightings. Others, including @realDonaldTrump and me, have said “shoot one down” if necessary. One thing is clear, there’s no uniformed agreement, authority, or understanding between State and Federal agencies regarding who and how to act.
Almost 4 week into this national drone debacle and for every emerging drone “expert” there’s a corresponding, contradictory “expert” or agency, proving just how little we know and unprepared the Country is to address everything from everyday drone activity to the hostile invasions or rogue actors.
Almost 4 weeks into the Biden Administration’s drone mess, we’ve heard from academics and Admiral Kirby that every reported drone is just a fixed wing, manned aircraft. Meanwhile military spokesmen for the Naval Weapon Station Earl and Picatinny Arsenal in NJ have reported 13 separate verified drone intrusions into their respective, restricted airspace, and the NJSP reported that on multiple occasions they dispatched helicopters to intercept drones only for those aircraft to go dark and disappear without a signal or detectable trace. Those reports are documented and undisputed.
At Monday’s Joint Legislative briefing at NJSP headquarters, the U.S. Dept of Homeland Security reported that the total Federal budget for counter-UAS research and development is just $500,000, peanuts in a Biden Administration that spends billions tearing down border walls, on aid to foreign adversaries, on pan, trans, and other programs, and to house, feed, clothe and coddle illegal immigrants at the expense of American citizens. Almost 4 weeks into the drone controversy and it’s clear the Biden Administration is totally and unapologetically unprepared to protect or defend American families from emerging threats.
The Federal government owns this drone disaster. They have singular jurisdiction over American skies yet can’t produce a credible, singular message. No branch of the Fed seems to know what’s happening or what the other is doing, and the lack of any discernible plan or regulatory scheme to fix it is nauseating.
1. Answer the American public or take action to protect them. Period. End of story.
2. Congress must pass laws responsive to emerging drone technology that empower state law enforcement and other state agencies to act where the Fed fails.
3. The U.S. needs a modern legal and regulatory framework to combat errant drones and drone operators, recognize and neutralize potential threats, and respond to hostile foreign actors and adversaries. This crisis exposes cracks in America’s drone defenses.
4. We need a modern and robust counter-UAS program to stop China, Russia, Iran, and others, rogue operators, and over eager hobbyists from disrupting our economy, harming our families, halting interstate transit, and threatening our interests, and protect every American from the unknown dangers of emerging drone technology.
5. Finally, we need to get our sh*t together and act like the U.S.A. THIS WHOLE EXPERIENCE IS AN INTERNATIONAL EMBARRASSMENT. #drone #Transparency #Accountability @NJAdvanceMedia@FoxNews@NJSenateGOP@NJSpotlightNews@njdotcom@SaveJersey@NJAssemblyGOP@TheNJGlobe@megynkelly@TeamCavuto@ABC@NBCNews@FoxFriendsFirst@foxandfriends
It’s insulting to every American that the @JoeBiden Admin has no intelligent information to offer, but insists there is nothing to see here. #drones#leadright
New Jersey State Senator @DSteinhardtEsq to Neil: There aren't enough resources and assets being put in to figure out how to address drone activity, not just here, but everywhere
Generic statements are fine when it comes to snow alerts or road closures. But how on earth does anyone think the current federal response to unidentified drones in northwest New Jersey is acceptable? The public deserves answers! https://t.co/kmkNBUoZZt
President Trump is putting together a strong and brilliant Cabinet. Every day brings another stellar pick that will return our nation to America First greatness!
State Senator Doug Steinhardt would be an excellent pick as U.S. Attorney for NJ. He knows our state from Main Street to State Street and has been a true and unwavering supporter of President Trump and his plans to Make America Great Again!
The father of Taylor Ham was born 188 years ago today.
John Taylor was a state senator from Trenton and the founder of the Taylor Pork Roll Company. How is this guy not in the New Jersey Hall of Fame?
To NJ07, SALT means getting our full state and local tax deduction back. But to @suealtman and her radical allies, SALT stands for "Sue Altman Loves Taxes."
She’s cheered on record-breaking state spending, pushed for billions in new federal taxes, and plans to bankroll a far-left agenda off the backs of hardworking New Jerseyans.
#NJ07 can’t afford the Altman Agenda. Read more ⬇️

We received the 373-page, $56.6 billion Budget roughly an hour before its vote in committee yesterday‼️ Another rushed process during a late-night meeting that significantly lacked transparency.
“The 9 million+ residents of the State of NJ deserve better," -@SenatorTesta (R-1)
Thank you to everyone who came out to our annual candidate’s night at the Warren County Farmer’s Fair. We had a great time talking to Warren County residents on why our candidates are the best choice for your vote this November. #leadright
The NJ Office of Emergency Management has launched a dedicated Warren County site to help gather storm data: DamageNJ - https://t.co/xEqZIK7a3d
This website should be used by homeowners to report any damage caused to their homes by last weekend’s storms.
