@ccchhiderraaa@garngad141@easyJet It took over 2 months but they paid me fully for my rebooked flights ($4000) and also paid us $250 per passenger as compensation.
@ccchhiderraaa@garngad141@easyJet Persistence. We had to rebook w/ a different airline and I kept all the receipts, even food purchases. I submitted the 2 forms, one for reimbursement and the other for compensation.
@easyJet persistence paid off. Finally received my compensation for canceled flight in June. We self-booked with another airline after cancelation, paid out-of-pocket, and now have been compensated for expenses and compensation >$4000. Don't give up people!
@staceyfox1986@easyJet Do NOT book with Easyjet. They will literally cancel your flight as you're in line to check in and leave you stranded with no assistance.
@LeBeTweetin@easyJet Do not book with Easyjet. It's like flipping a coin on whether your flight will even take off, and nobody will help you when they do cancel.
DO NOT book any flights with @easyJet. They will cancel your flight just hours before take-off, leave you stranded, no assistance, promise you refund, then never pay. Probably because they're going bust.
@Pringle27@Flight_Refunds@easyJet Interesting. I filed my claim, waited a month, received an email that they have accepted and will pay out a certain amount and it will be issued to my bank within 7 days. Same for you?
@easyJet There were no smiling attendants on site to help us when you canceled our flight last month in Venice. We're still waiting for compensation for having to rebook our own flights home because @easyJet has ZERO customer service.
We were literally stranded at the airport with no way home and no offered assistance from any Easyjet employee. And now we've submitted a claim as you directed and there has been no correspondence back.
@easyJet you canceled our flight from Venice to Paris, with less than 24 hr notice, causing us to miss our flight from Paris to LAX. No help from ANY actual human person at the airport counter.
@easyJet@nigelmayor Nothing is quick and easy with Easyjet. We're $4000 out of pocket for having to rebook with another airline in order to get home. The options that you claim Easyjet offers are of no help. They want you to manage everything yourself basically.
@easyjet It's hard to have any sympathy for striking airport workers who deliberately choose their strike dates on busy holiday travel dates in and attempt to "stick it" to the airlines. I mean, do you really think you're hurting the airlines? Not one bit.
