#Myanmar doctors in hiding and hunted by the #Junta as Covid crisis ravages the country. The already-vulnerable health care system has collapsed. Doctors and other health workers who protested the coup, have been forced into hiding #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar#ICJ_BringSACToJustice

Solidarity from the people to help the covid sick shows the only means of assistance and care they can get when the country is facing a humanitrarian disaster under totalitarian disorder. Myanmar 23/07/2021.
Example 1. @UN@USAmbUN@UN_HRC@EUatUN
What do you say about these terrorist attacks on one's own people? Legitimate? Lawful? Internationally acceptable? Do you even know #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar ? 23/07/2021
Note that these political prisoners must be so desperate to a point they are risking their lives to shout chorus protest chants in Yangon, Insein prison where covid is rampant. Many well known NLD officials have died of covid ( but not only) under bad circumstances.
@UN @Ir2Pwg
We would like to appeal to international humanitarian organizations including @ICRC to check the conditions in prisons inside Myanmar. We are very worried about political prisoners who just staged a protest inside Insein Prison.

@Tan_Hui_Yee@Mae_Tao_Clinic@NUGMyanmar@ASEANMP Right. Valid questions, esp when CDM doctors treating covid patients are being persecuted and their equipment confiscated. Distributing vaccines could become a difficult task as all else.
Dire situation for #Myanmar's journalists mean that many must flee to #Thailand for safety. @zsomborpeter has the story of these journalists for @VOANews. #Thailand must respect human rights, & under no circumstances send them back into harms way in #Burma https://t.co/BV06o0OqjP
The lack of urgency around the Myanmar crisis is continuously shocking. People are dying. Many more will die from the junta’s disastrous covid response than even the violent crackdowns. This could have been prevented by a stronger intl reaction
Yangon’s protest movement was largely driven by activists unaligned with the NLD - minority rights activists, labor unions, students’ groups. But their demands for more radical change are becoming increasingly mainstream. Latest for NPR

July 22, Yangon alone: 2,024 dead bodies, victims of covid. This is just for one large city. Save Myanmar now from coup & covid, the double whammy. Myanmar is bordering China and India, so beware of the covid strain which can spread if it is not controlled now!
@UN @Ir2Pwg
"We can't breathe!" Children in #Myanmar face the combined threat of the coup & a catastrophic wave of #COVID19 infections. Not even children are safe from arrest, detention or death as a result of #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar
@TostevinM Yes, unbelievable! Doctors have also been lured. On one occasion or more, they came to get one CDM doctor saying a patient was in urgent need, then caught him, beat him and threw him into prison.
