Brentuximab vedotin plus nivolumab as bridging therapy to CAR T-cells in relapsed/refractory primary mediastinal B-cell lymphoma | Haematologica https://t.co/1U6KGvo5yt #lymsm
Today in @Nature we report a new prime editing strategy that can rescue a common cause of many genetic diseases in a disease-agnostic manner. This approach converts a redundant endogenous tRNA into an optimized suppressor tRNA, enabling a single prime edit to rescue premature stop codons across different diseases.

This week we publish in @NatureBiotech "High-precision cytosine base editors by evolving nucleic-acid-recognition hotspots in deaminase". In this work, we show that both nucleotide and context specificity of deaminases can be reprogrammed by hotspot-focused directed evolution 1/n

Most genetic variants are assumed to influence disease risk by effects on gene expression. While most variants can affect the expression of multiple genes, existing methods map a single gene at a time.

Very excited to share our latest research article published with @SpringerNature in @NatureComms. We show that in early #MDS, NK cells share mutations with the malignant clones, becoming dysfunctional and failing to eliminate aberrant stem cells. This leads to immune evasion and disease progression. Adoptive infusion of healthy donor #NK cells can restore immune surveillance offering a potential strategy for early intervention. It was an honor and a pleasure to collaborate with @CollaSimona on this work! Read here

Everett Meyer, @StanfordMed, shares results from the phase III Precision trial (NCT05316701) comparing orca-T with standard-of-care allograft with tacrolimus/methotrexate in patients with AML, ALL, MDS, or MPAL. The trial met its primary endpoint; the rate of survival free of moderate-to-severe chronic GvHD was significantly higher with orca-T vs Tac/MTX (HR: 0.26; p <0.00001).
