Delhi PG Horror -The father's a taxi driver, the mom runs a small parlor from home. They struggled, took loans to send their boy to Delhi. Now he's dead- killed by corruption & callousness. I meet the parents of 18 year old Arpit Jaj & it's impossible not to weep listening to them and thinking of him dying under a giant slab of cement as a death trap of a building fell on him.

“Gareeb ko Kaun poochta hai” - Arpit’s mother asks me. The family lives in Dewas in Madhya Pradesh and struggled to pay the 16,ooo monthly rent the PG owners demanded.

And yet, in this moment of unspeakable grief, they opted to donate their son’s eyes. “Maybe another child can see the world he wanted to see”.

Spoke with the Chief Minister, Commissioner of Police, Delhi, and the Director General, NDRF, and assessed the situation on the ground. The local administration and the NDRF are conducting intensive rescue operations in close coordination. The injured are being provided with all necessary medical assistance. @AMISHDEVGAN I would like to suggest one question you should ask today, what happened to responsible officers and leaders who were directly or indirectly involved in haujkhas fire incident? As everytime govt claims responsible person will be punished but we never know who is punished.
