@BaddCompani Dear Assholes, Greedy Jackwagons, Entitled Brats and Douchebags,
Last chance.
Run.
Cut a deal.
Stop shredding phone records and consuming paperwork.
We had them a long time ago.
Forget covering it up.
We already know.
We are not kidding.
Fuck you very much,
The Good Guys
I think it’s a crisis that kids are growing up with no knowledge of Robin Hood & Merlin, Charlotte and Babar, Ratty and Badger and Long John Silver. In the words of Katherine Rundell, “We need to be infinitely more furious that there are children without books.”
It was never actually about paying the J6 rioters.
It was about protecting Donald Trump.
They’ll still blindly support him, though, no matter how many times he screws them over.
It would take far more than a month to honor the contributions of queer and transgender New Yorkers.
From the Cercle Hermaphroditos in 1895, the first trans advocacy group in the United States, to the drag balls of the Harlem Renaissance, to the Stonewall uprising, to the Lesbian Herstory Archives, to ACT UP!, founded in 1987 as queer people fought for their lives while the Reagan administration looked away, New York City's history has long been shaped by queer and trans New Yorkers.
To all our queer and trans neighbors: you deserve a City where you can afford to live safely, openly, and joyfully.
Happy Pride, New York City.
I miss when politics was like this.
Zohran isssued an executive order repealing kids bedtimes so kids can watch the knicks finals.
So innocent, unserious but playful. Brings back humanity.
This is what NOT standing on business looks like. He knows that this was wrong and a bad idea but doesn’t have the courage to say it. This is not leadership. Gross.
"So Trump’s long-held dream to take over American culture in the same way he took over American politics remains unfulfilled. For all the ways he has affected the country, he is not a tastemaker or an avatar of coolness; when the culture speaks of Trump, it’s mostly to rail at him and reject him." https://t.co/Wl6Z1b3gnX
John Oliver: The hypocrisy here is just so flagrant. Just last week, administration officials triumphantly announced indictments as part of their ongoing crackdown on health care fraud. But, as reporters quickly pointed out, some of those fraud cases seem strikingly similar to those for which Trump has granted clemency, when people have had connections to him.
