На жаль, Президент Польщі Кароль Навроцький вдався до недружнього акту щодо нашого народу, позбавивши Президента України раніше врученого йому ордена Білого Орла.

Безумовно, це подарунок для московського агресора, який той обов’язково використає проти обох наших країн.

Наші народи мають давні взаємини й різні сторінки історії – як героїчні, так і трагічні. Однак це має бути приводом для глибокого осмислення, а не грубих політичних спекуляцій. Україна не вказує жодному іншому народові, як вчити його історію. Тож і ми залишаємо за собою справедливе право на власну національну пам'ять та гідність.

Переконаний, що цей жест Президента Польщі не про справедливість абощо. Адже про яку справедливість може бути мова, якщо ордена Білого Орла, наприклад, досі не позбавлено італійського фашистського диктатора й пособника Гітлера Беніто Муссоліні?

Україна, без сумніву, дасть оцінку цій події. Та попри все ми й далі міцно стоятимемо на засадах відкритого партнерства з усіма нашими союзниками. Однак партнерства рівноправного, заснованого на принципах взаємоповаги.

Україна продовжить битися в авангарді захисту всієї Європи, зокрема Польщі, сплачуючи найдорожчу ціну.

Та як і будь-який українець, я не можу лишатися осторонь і просто спостерігати за тим, як проти наших громадян безпідставно й штучно розкручується маховик ненависті.

З огляду на це я відмовляюся від Золотого офіцерського хреста ордена «За заслуги перед Польщею», яким мене нагородив минулого року Президент Польщі.

Впевнений, що українське суспільство – і військові, і цивільні – відчувають такі ж емоції та підтримають цей крок.

Imaginez les alliés en 1942 expliquer qu'il ne faut pas "humilier l'Allemagne" puis en 1943 qu'il faut parler à Hitler et "faire pression sur lui" pour l'amener à "la table de négociations" en vue de le pousser à admettre un "cessez-le-feu". Imaginez aussi que tout à l'idée noble en elle-même de servir la paix, on vous explique qu'il faut prévoir "l'aprés-Hitler" qui pourrait être pire et que, "soyons réalistes", la géographie étant ce qu'elle est l'Allemagne sera toujours de l'autre côté du Rhin après la guerre, sans oublier que nous partageons entre européens beaucoup avec elle entre histoire et culture.
Aujourd'hui les mêmes, ou leurs héritiers en droite ligne, nous racontent les mêmes contes pour enfants sur la #Russie. Ne les croyez pas. Si nos pères avaient agi comme ils le souhaitent, où serait la France ? Les faux "patriotes" sont une sale race qui renaît aujourd'hui pour le malheur de notre pays.

Deux figures ukrainiennes, l’ex-président Leonid Koutchma et l’ex-ministre des Affaires étrangères Borys Tarassiouk, viennent de renvoyer leurs distinctions polonaises en réaction à la décision explosive du président polonais Karol Nawrocki : priver Volodymyr Zelensky de l’ordre de l’Aigle Blanc.

Koutchma, qui avait reçu le même ordre en 1997, fait savoir : « Aucune nation ne peut dicter à l’Ukraine son histoire ou ses héros. »
Un message clair : la Pologne a franchi une ligne rouge en s’attaquant à la mémoire de l’UPA (Armée insurrectionnelle ukrainienne), un sujet ultra-sensible.

Tarassiouk, lui, rend son Grand-Croix de l’Ordre du Mérite de la République de Pologne.
Son commentaire : « Le Kremlin se frotte les mains. Nawrocki, sans le vouloir, fait le jeu de Moscou en dynamitant un partenariat stratégique. »

Koutchma, lui qui a passé son mandat à construire des ponts avec Varsovie, conclut : « L’Ukraine et la Pologne ont besoin l’une de l’autre comme jamais. »

Rescuers freed a six-year-old girl trapped under the rubble after Russian guided bombs partially destroyed a residential building in Kharkiv overnight. Heavy equipment was deployed to rescue the kid.

Jour 127, orbite 1968 – Cette aurore était absolument spectaculaire… Elle ondulait et dansait sous nos pieds, à perte de vue, et sa lumière était si intense qu’elle illuminait toute la Station de reflets verts 💚.

Nous avons eu la joie d’en observer plusieurs depuis le début de la mission, mais celle‑ci – bien trop lumineuse pour mes réglages habituels de photos d’aurores – nous a tous émerveillés !

Des moments comme celui‑ci ne perdent jamais de leur magie, même ici, et tout l’équipage se retrouve à chercher la meilleure place près d’un hublot 😊
