We are all SO grateful, this whole Irish visa thing has been a huge additional stressor and my mum was absolutely devastated when she realised she may lose out on her entire trip. Again, thank you so much to everyone who helped get this sorted out in time!

For additional context: the trip was to spend 1 week in Dublin with her sister & neices, and then a week with us in France, to see her grandson that she has not seen since before covid. She already has spent thousands on a Schengen visa which will be moot if she cannot travel.

I reiterate: a 75 year old pensioner who has had to spend THOUSANDS past her budget due to newly-required visa fees, is unable to get her passport back WITH THE APPROVED VISA because nobody from @VFSGlobal is bothering to make contact!

She has had a trip to Ireland booked for MONTHS and jumped through all the hoops to get the newly-required visa which added thousands on to her original cost of her trip. The visa HAS BEEN APPROVED she just needs her passport!
