@DeanEggitt I can understand your annoyance if the symptom is specialty specific - but if more general ie weight loss, you want me to continue to investigate this in my lung cancer clinic even once cancer is excluded? GPs don’t have a monopoly on being busy.
@drruthannharpur@DrSdeG@BlondiieMama Of note, I’m not a BF zealot. I really couldn’t care less how anyone feeds their babies. And thankfully no nipple fiddling was required.
@drruthannharpur@DrSdeG@BlondiieMama Sure. But equally seems bonkers to me that we expect woman and babies to just crack on and ‘get’ breastfeeding without any help/advice. Most things in life I can do, because someone taught me.
@drruthannharpur@mamasbelle@DrSdeG@BlondiieMama You’d advocate no support for BF at all? So what would you suggest for Mums who want to breastfeed but are struggling? They’re told that the only option is formula? I’m glad you got ample BF support. I got virtually none.
@roisinbevan I had never heard of the Barkley Marathons before last night (not really my bag in fairness). It sounds hilariously random for something so gruelling.
@RoshanaMN Hmm disagree. My clinics are booked 6 weeks in advance. This allows patients time to sort work/childcare etc to attend. Less notice for them isn’t a good thing. I know when I’ve been on the other side!
Well this is just lovely, and I was completely unaware of it’s existence. Thank you @LauraMArthur, my wean is enjoying it immensely (or rather trying to eat the pages which I think is how he shows enjoyment).
