@glukianoff There is no Cancel Culture if those being cancelled are simply evil. Once you reductionalize someone, justifying their demonification is trivial.
@charlescwcooke He's incredibly important because he would've...voted against Brent Cavanaugh. BC is so bad...because ???...that voting against him and getting another GOP candidate nominated is more important than any immoral act? That? That's your threshold for tossing your own morality?
@datadriven_tdoc You can't separate the behavior patterns from the mechanics. You're making a claim that behavior=function. There's no basis for that claim. The mechanics of the brain provide different output given updated inputs. But to claim a "female brain" is to make a mechanical claim.
@datadriven_tdoc Or...that the "standards" and the medical profession are so untrustworthy that the only legitimate thing the State can do is revoke their privileges when the State is responsible for care.
@heikateryna@Dryssa4@datadriven_tdoc Observations aren't inherently correct. Mistakes will be made. But there's not an element of choice baked into the definition, unlike "Assignment"
Haven't seen many folks argue for sex testing at birth. That'll start soon, because what's the reason to only observe and not detect?
@datadriven_tdoc@RayAlexWilliams I don't doubt that can be true. But is almost always? I doubt. The common person's definition of sex isn't nuanced. It's strictly based on sexual organs. And language usage reflects definitional understanding.
@datadriven_tdoc Bad analogy. Good analogy...100% overseen by stent advocating cardiologists.
Leor specifically referenced "treatment", not "specialty".
