@citizentvkenya Kindly ask her about spousal visa delays. Only Nairobi is facing a 2 yr visa interview delay and still blaming COVID. Other larger and busier embassies don’t have have similar level of delays.

Amb. Whitman, Nairobi is now processing 44% more IVs annually than pre-Covid. But, family visas are fewer than pre-Covid! Children and spouses now face a 2-year wait that keeps getting longer. This is not fair.

Congressional inquiries on family IV interviews showed that in June you were sending ILs to people DQ in Oct 2022. In July, similar inquiry replies say for July you are processing ILs for DQ June 2022! Do you have a time machine?!? Or... How????

But your lack of attention to family visa backlog is not good work. Nairobi has one of the worst backlogs globally. You solved the tourist visa backlog, but Americans' spouses and children must wait 2 years for an interview?!? Please fix this!!!

@USAmbKenya @USEmbassyKenya two years we have to wait for our daughter to have just be able to get an IL before we can make an interview appointment, that’s just insane! Please figure out how to speed up the process for family based Visas.

@USAmbKenya @USEmbassyKenya Ambassador please make it a priority for family based visa interviews, 2 years is to long. One of the toughest things is to watch this administration leave the borders for anyone to walk through but have no real care of the ones that do it right.

@Juliestufft In recent months the @USEmbassyKenya has taken over 4 months to clear one month of interviews for Ir1/Cr1 immediate family members visa, with current waiting times being over 20 months after being documentary qualified, @USAmbKenya is single handedly breaking family
