Yesterday my kindies made 4 different hockey pucks and a hockey stick. We went outside to see if we could discover which was the slipperiest. Thought we would take advantage of all the ice out there, but a bit of fresh snow on top made it a bit harder. #TMOWinterChallenge

Walnut Park Kindies went on a hike to Riverside Park yesterday. We discovered Foxy in his den, checked out the Grade 6 & 7 shelters, and collected sticks. Today we read “Not a Stick” and then made stick creatures. @sd54BV @takemeoutside @HCTF_Education @NatureKidsBC @LyndaHenney

Have you ever felt so angry you thought you just might roar? This week the Walnut Park Kindergarten class read Ravi’s Roar by Tom Percival and then learned about emotions to create an angry tiger. They used lines and splatter painting to create an expressive background.@sd54BV
