This year, for the first time, unplaced students were matched to courses available in Clearing. Today more than 10,000 students used our new Clearing Plus service and in the words of one student: “It opened my eyes to universities I hadn’t considered in the past.” #Clearing2020

•Record numbers of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds have a confirmed place.

28,970 students from Scotland have been accepted into university or college through @ucas_online today, up 220 on #SQAresults day last year, and despite a fall in the overall number of 18 year olds in the population.
