🚨 BREAKING: Japan has just launched its first of four planned commercial whale hunts this year. This morning, the Kangei Maru, Japan’s largest whaling vessel, left Shimonoseki Port with one horrific goal — to slaughter 25 fin whales.
“Japan is once again targeting endangered Fin whales in absolute contempt to the opinions and concerns of the majority of people on this planet who are sickend by the continued slaughter of these magnificent, intelligent, self aware sentient beings. Japanese whaling is a criminal enterprise in violation of international law and in contempt of the 2014 ruling of the International Court of Justice.” stated Captain Paul Watson.
Fin whales are majestic, sentient beings—the second-largest creatures on Earth—and are still listed as Vulnerable to extinction by the IUCN. Yet Japan continues to kill them for profit, ignoring international concern and conservation science.
The Paul Watson Foundation stands in defense of ocean life. We believe that whaling is a crime against nature—and we refuse to stay silent.

This #FarmWashing practice should be made illegal, it deceives consumers and makes nonsense of @RedTractorFood traceability

Please donate, we are desperately trying to raise money for our much needed rehab unit. Call outs to badgers is increasing, we've already been out to 5 live badgers this year and we need the space to care for them 🙏🙏🙏
Please support us, we are aiming to build our second rehab unit due to the high numbers of badgers we are rescuing, even a small donation will help

It's no secret that trail hunting is a smokescreen for illegal and cruel Fox hunting.
I'm supporting @LeagueACS to call on @UKLabour to strengthen the Hunting Act so it actually fulfills it purpose.

The Cottesmore Hunt has quad-bikes with terriers in them for driving a fox that’s gone to earth back to the surface . Why on Earth would they need terriers if they’re really just following a trail ?
WATCH @Channel4News this evening at 7pm for an exclusive on the illegal shooting of a hen harrier on, shock horror, a grouse moor.

It’s hard to imagine a more shameful indictment of our sewage crisis than what I witnessed on the River Avon this afternoon.
A flock of swans & ducks feeding & cavorting in a plume of raw sewage, just a few hundred metres from the centre of the genteel City of Bath.
This huge sewage spill entered the river after a short 10 minute rainstorm of average intensity. It is highly unlikely that the circumstances were exceptional and thus this discharge is likely to be a criminal offence.
I (somewhat ironically) spotted this spill on my way to speak to local river activists on the Avon. I’ve encouraged them all to demand that both the @EnvAgency & the local authority @bathnes hold @wessexwater to account for their disgusting & disgraceful actions.
