You know what, I've lost weight both ways.
When I was younger, I lost 50 pounds over one summer. I cut out basically all carbs, breakfast, and only ate normal amounts of meat and veggies. Worked a physically demanding job.
I lost the weight, even as my bodied screamed at me, every survival instinct insisted I was starving to death.
Now that I'm older, I work a job that actually pays, but doesn't keep me physically active. I can't tolerate starving myself like I used to.
GLP-1 agonists quiet down a gnawing drive to eat at the back of my mind. Leave me feeling full much quicker when I do eat. Without that hunger driving me, I stop to ask myself if I even want to eat that next bite.
Losing weight is far easier, and doesn't feel like I'm fighting my own survival instincts.
I'm not mad that other people don't have to put the same suffering in to lose weight, I'm just happy it can be so much easier for them and me.

This statue will inspire young men to be like Charlie Kirk
UFC is the only “major sport” where their athletes have to work other jobs to make ends meet
All because the MMA community is full of right wing cucks who don’t care about Dana White stealing the labor value of his fighters, in fact MMA fans cheer it on and pretend stuff like this is a “feel good story”
Joke of a sport
Starbucks isn't a poor company.
Last year, it made $3.6+ billion in profits & paid its CEO $96 million, while denying workers a living wage and decent benefits.
Let's stand in solidarity with striking Starbucks workers. Don't cross the picket line.
This “deal” dramatically hikes healthcare premiums and only exacerbates the affordability crisis.
It should be rejected, as should any politics willing to compromise on the basic needs of working people.
One cannot love God without extending one’s love to the poor. Love for our neighbor is tangible proof of the authenticity of our love for God. The Lord himself teaches us: “Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me” (Mt 25:40). #DilexiTe
