@schipper_lisa @NaomiAKlein My take, based on economic history, is the root cause is inequality. Climate change is both a multiplier and a symptom of the processes leading to that inequality. The adaptation is to shift the blame. Better the villain you know than to realise it's an abusive relationship.

@GlobalEcoGuy @MisinformNoMore This is incorrect. While the forcing is linear, the dissipative response is not. Climate moves through a series of stable states. Obs do this. Coupled models do this, but the output is not being measured properly.
