@Liardo1@ifmcknight@mattyglesias@PEWilliams_ Well Biden gave excess power to the left and now the pendulum will swing back because it contributed to Trump 2. Also you overweight your contribution.
@LawrenceForbe16@hutchinson So when republicans campaign by showing clips of Hasan and Piker together followed by clips of insane shit Piker has said, your suggestion is to what? Ignore it and hope it’s not effective with swing voters?
@Liardo1@ifmcknight@mattyglesias@PEWilliams_ It’s not hostage taking! Conservatives are way over represented in this country due to our system so the left has to be part of a huge coalition to have any power at all. If you don’t like it convince Republicans and Independents to vote for your candidates.
@Liardo1@ifmcknight@mattyglesias@PEWilliams_ But simply not being a republican voting against left priorities is providing a BIG thing when the republican is otherwise likely to win.
@mattyglesias Matt what data shows importing foreign engineers and it professionals has created more/higher paying jobs for Americans in those fields? At some point supply/demand kicks in, like during recessions right?
@MegaCentrist@hollowearthterf@cremieuxrecueil I would fucking hate it there. If your only concern is how big the inside of your house is then I guess it’s good, but my surroundings matter way more than my house to me.
@JaymeMerline@mattyglesias Is the thought process that ALL of the dirty fuel must be extracted from the ground and shoved into the sky before we can develop other energy sources?
@drseanmullen Do you think many people’s ability to do that basic multitasking has been noticeably diminished? I haven’t observed that. I thought you were discussing much more complicated thought processes.
@mattyglesias@GunnelsWarren Also if the point is to increase access to care (higher demand) how will supply be increased to match? Or will care just be rationed by some means other than price (very long waits like in uk and Canada)
