And that is obviously less true for moderates. Eg Left might have perceived Kamala as too moderate on Israel but theyd still be stupid to not oppose Trump

Additionally, she hugely underperformed polls, ie she was even less competitive than she looked. You have just asserted that she would be more popular with non-dems for some reason
