The council will say it took action to prevent anti-social motorbikes & mopeds but this always seems to be to the cost of cyclists on non standard bikes. Hounslow is also guilty of this with its appalling access to Hounslow Heath.

So: if Sunak's view is to not make life harder for drivers, that means pushing modal shift *onto* the roads, not off them. This is a major reversal of years of UK government policy, and would cause lots of problems, not least for those same drivers.

The borough should be creating better spaces for all cyclists not taking any away. Suggesting that cyclists should use the busy Hanworth junction isn’t helpful.

Even for a regular bike it’s unacceptably tight. The other side of the gate is even narrower - the lampost restricts the width further (handlebars).

Due to popular demand we are running an intro course to on-road cycle training for younger/less experienced riders -approx 6-9 yrs.
Old Deer Park 10-12 am 15-18 Aug. Designed around a combination of playground games, and rides on local segregated cycle paths and quiet roads.
