@MartinSLewis Be careful, I have 43 years NI I have apparently got some year's opted out, so not enough contributions for new full state pension,I am 4 years short. I paid for 2 years one being I owed £300 the other £200 I didn't get any extra years, I was then told I paid the wrong years.

@guyshrubsole Different land can produce different things, hills and mountains sheep only, also areas have shallow soil, these areas can have soil disturbance, as it will blow away, therefore only any good for cattle, the rich flat land suitable for food growing is used for house building

@CPRESussex Not only does this give farmers a second income, it enables farmers to protect some of the unused buildings, these may go into disrepair and become dangerous or fall down, we need to protect, these buildings if that means conversion, better than houses on fields.

@DerrickChester1 Not only does it give farmers a second income, it also protects some ancient farm buildings that could or are going into disrepair, barn conversions etc is far better than demolition or slowly falling down and dangerous structure.

@DeborahMeaden Exactly right, this is the olive groves as well no olive oil, no grain from UK, yet our council carry on building on grade 1 to 3 farmland, that produces grain, sunflower oil, maize and rapeseed, it doesn't matter we can inmport it

@DerrickChester1 I am sure, their was a British battery manufacturer that went bust recently up north, a big factory, which was built with government funding, now empty, why on earth didn't they reopen that and save all that farmland.

@DerrickChester1 It's an old hotel, made from timber the same was not said about the old hotel in midhursr that also burnt and spread quickly, I have stayed in Britannia, not well decorated, but kept all right, the biggest issue is budget, they attract smokers, I expect someone smoking in room.

@DerrickChester1 I think the greens have put a spanner in the works, it used to be a 2 party system with the inconvenience of the libdems lol, but now with 4 parties you can win with 26% of the vote, I think they will all have to rethink on this.

@DerrickChester1 I think everyone in Arun has been bullied, don't believe their vote will make a difference, the council seems to run itself a bit like yes minister. It needs a complete change apathy wins.

@DerrickChester1 I have always voted by person, but honestly next time I think it will be postal, having had my poll card scanned, then driving licence, then poll card, it seems secret ballot is thing off the past, not only name and address with my vote, photo too.

@WSHighways It is a walk we have done not to get to Arundel, but just a country walk, it takes you past knucker hole, great for blackberries and through a cow field where it gets much more adventurous. I don't believe it is a walk many do other than for scenery or dog walking.

@DerrickChester1 Unbelievable, who would want to be a councillor in may and sort this mess out. It's going to take a lot of work and courage, can't see how it can be done.

@DerrickChester1 So whilst political points being made, it's a nightmare for the next council whoever it is, but surely you have to do something that means it's possible to survive and not destroy the future, a balanced budget should be priority. You are potentially stitching yourself up.
