@annief3051 @Marxist100 I would understand it to be a chemical change, and as such a biological reality. Where as neurodivergence is a physical difference, like different neuronal connectivity patterns. Both 'real' but in different ways.

@calinavp Anecdote is useful when evidence is lacking but the case against ABA is huge. The problem is not a lack of testimony it is a lack of willingness to listen. Check ASAN or The Thinking Person's Guide to Autism or similar.

@Siennapup1024 @DragonicLyssa @lezvisibility It's like any identity, you would grow up hearing it being positively spoken of, and when you started to be aware of the prejudice a loving parent would give you reading material and role models for help you understand yourself and not fall for the deficit stuff.
