🙌🏼 love being a @TheDICECharter champion #DiversityandInclusion is not an initiative ! conference organisers, sponsors, speakers have to be accountable for making sure events have inclusion at it’s core from the start #RepresentationMatters
Still buzzing from yesterday's @TheDICECharter meeting. We're determined for 2021 to be the 'year of accountability'.
All the great conversations that happened last year around DEI (especially in advertising) *have* to convert, and we want DICE to play an important role in that
Our co-founder Lucy Kellaway has shared her views in a Sunday Times article - and there's coverage in the Observer too.

I am so pleased that this is the threat to human dignity that has united our political discourse.
After all, we all know a shared focus of the truly important issues in our world is a sign of a mature democracy.
Don't let your project fail! Put together a business requirements document (BRD) before executing. It helps you align with all stakeholders & make sure tiny details don’t get missed. #projectmanagement#planning#success https://t.co/e1zgNZpged
More Tory MPs have spoken up about how Nike have done a fashion thing, than about the child poverty data which shows a growing number of children in the country they rule not having enough to eat. Wobble your heads.
Brick Lane in Tower Hamlets is not a no-go zone you absolute pillock.
If it was a genuine no-go zone, I wouldn't have to endure insufferable mainstream white-collar professionals who believe that they are the ultimate experts when it comes to Bangladeshi cuisine in the UK.
Culture wars have consequences.
Divisive politics have consequences.
Political posturing has consequences.
Peddling conspiracy theories has consequences.
Sending out messages that some of our fellow citizens are fair game has consequences.
It’s time for us to come together, to reject the politics of division and stand united against hate.
Blows my mind that people hire ‘creatives’ then stick them in a lifeless office, make them work 9-5, invite them to Microsoft Teams calls throughout the day, remind them to move their Jira tickets along a Kanban board, and not to forget their timesheets.
Creatives. 😂
Three men have been charged with planning a neo-Nazi terror attack on an Islamic education centre in Leeds.
Detectives recovered a 3D printer, a 3D-printed FGC-9 semi-automatic firearm, various decommissioned firearms, knives, and Nazi memorabilia.

I don’t know why this doesn’t get discussed enough but three days bereavement leave in the UK is absolutely diabolical.
If that’s your parent or sibling you are going to be unable to focus at work or anything in life for months
This woman @MarinaPurkiss right on every score ⏬️
A masterclass showing the non story about @AngelaRayner and where the real focus should be instead.
Unelected offshore billionaires having avoided tax & then passing laws in our House of Lords 👀
If you’re angry at Angela Rayner for selling her council house…
But not angry at where this non-story came from
i.e. from the billionaire Tory peer who got out of paying UK taxes by being a non-dom while sat in our House of Lords
…then you’re part of the problem.
This is such a great example of how Teams is culturally situated. This kind of thing goes down really well in India, and to a lesser degree in the US. In the UK it's weird and no one will use it. And I've been involved in German Works Councils discussions to have this turned off.
I thought about writing this under a pseudonym and almost did. Then I considered whether it is silencing too. Probably one of the most vulnerable I have felt in writing this @guardian
This is not what World Book Day should be about. Why is the underlying message being taken over by expensive fancy dress? Let’s take it back to the real meaning - promoting a love of books and stories and the magical world they can open up for children of all ages.
#worldbookday
Covid and the govt response to it was a classic case of wilful blindness...@Breathtaking was an excellent illustration of how it cascaded right through the system
