🔬 Despite 47% predicted 3-year mortality risk, actual mortality was only 20% over 4.2 years with 7 serious adverse events total, suggesting favorable risk-benefit ratio in this devastating condition that causes 27-31% of systemic sclerosis deaths.
⚡ First evidence that dual B and T cell targeting effectively treats refractory cardiac manifestations in systemic sclerosis - prospective controlled trials urgently needed to validate this promising therapeutic breakthrough.
