This survey examines the digital divide, which refers to the gap between people with equal access to communication and information technology and those without.

I created a "Community Digital Access Survey: Assessing Connectivity, Affordability, and Equity."
I appreciate anyone willing to participate; it's very short! #EDT6035
@emily_osterman1 What a great question. I will glide through keeping an eye on my students at regular intervals of time. I know deck toy- decks allow the teacher to watch the student's avatar moving on the learning path, a good idea.#wuedt6020
The nature of games will always bring out the competitive side of many students. Staying positive and encouraging the students to remember to focus on the content while having fun is critical. Funny, my daughter in grad school told me she got carried away with winning a Kahoot game in a cytology lab and forgot to focus on the content! ss
@ScottLeah624 Certainly, there can be significant barriers to using technology in the classroom. I think many of the barriers can be overcome with foresight; when I have tried new tech, I find it critical to have a backup lesson in case we run into technical difficulties.#wuedt6020
@K_Correll1001 Karley, My students use technology in the classroom, such as laptops. I use Google Classroom and PowerPoint for lessons and games for review, as well as some online applications for typing, programming, and so on.#wuedt6020
@K_Correll1001 Karley,
My students do use technology in the classroom -laptops. I use Google Classroom and PowerPoint for lessons and games for review, as well as some online applications for typing, programming, and so on.
@MeganBarne83105 AI in the classroom is a hot topic. I know some teachers are terrified their students are constantly cheating. AI is here to stay; as educators, it is our job to teach the pros and cons of AI and how to use the technology responsibly.#wuedt6020
Alexis,
Technology in the classroom has the potential to build communication or detach; the teacher is in control of the outcome. When a teacher brings tech into their classroom, they will need to monitor their students closely and try to envision the outcome ahead. Certainly, the students may need time to decompress, and alone time could be a great break from interaction.#wuedt6020
Empower your classroom with the power of social media! π Teachers can harness platforms to organize projects, engage with students beyond class, and pool resources. πβ¨π#wuedt6020
Here's a game I like to use with my kids.
https://t.co/0CYG7y7pel is a website that offers a variety of fun and interactive games for kids. The games promote physical activity and teach about healthy eating and exercise. GoNoodle is an ideal game for the classroom to get kids moving and engaged in learning.#wuedt6020
This is a great question! It depends on the teacher and the personality of each student. The facilitator of the instruction will need to incorporate discussion, collaboration, and intentional opportunities for students to discuss their learning, resulting in more communication and collaboration, not less.#wuedt6020
@B_Farrell9 I am very excited about VR and augmented reality in the classroom, especially in the sciences. It's a great way to interact with A&P courses. #wuedt6020
@sbantom001 I use online security in my classroom -through a platform, you can set preferences according to age.
