Members of our injured rider's previous team put together an awesome video of our NP MTB team support ride on Saturday. @WestlakeHS_CA@TOAcornNews@jacknosco

Full NPHS #MTB team riding over to support one of our team members that was injured in the @WestlakeHS_CA incident. She is recovering. Always impressive to see the full team together, especially for a great cause. Thanks to @jacknosco for organizing and @VCFD for the escort.
@TrentSiggard Whenever I take a team group past this site they are always surprised that it is there and say they never noticed it before. I think there was talk about adding camping spots like that along the backbone trail.
@TrentSiggard Wow, you got a lot of us in one video. We were having feed-zone practice (grabbing water bottles at a certain spot in the race course), so most of the training groups were in the area.
120 local athletes and over 30 volunteer coaches of the NPHS #MTB team have been working hard for two months, preparing for our first race this weekend. We'll join over 800 kids from more than 70 SoCal teams in 2 days of racing at Lake Perris. Biking is big. #morekidsonbikes
Beautiful day for the #NoscoRide yesterday. Great cause and an awesome cycling event hosted by our community. 14th year, hundreds of riders, and lots of friendly volunteers. I've heard it called the best charity ride in SoCal. @jacknosco@TrekBikes
@TrentSiggard Agreed. With the popularity of gravel bikes this could be a major cycling attraction and has alternate transportation possibilities. You could form a nice big loop with Calleguas bike path, Sycamore and Conejo Canyons, possibly connecting to CSUCI.
Fun ride. Good route for me with no severe hills and plenty of new mileage. Lots of nice people and well supported. Nosco ride is next in Nov., with quite a lot more climbing. https://t.co/Y8wXuUz6wU @soaringspirits
Organized fundraiser ride tomorrow in Simi (also a virtual version). "Spreading the message that safe road sharing between motorists, cyclists and pedestrians is good for everyone". Fun ride, not a race. I'm going to try the 50 mile route.

@VCVCCA @TOAntifaAvenger @CityofTO Agreed about the paint. I avoid other sections of Lynn by taking neighborhood or slower streets, Greenmeadow, Newbury Rd, etc. Now if you want to get adventurous, there are some dirt trail options as well. Probably not quicker, though.
@TrentSiggard Speaking of which... this morning on Lynn Rd. Utility vehicles parked in the bike lane ahead and a landscaper parked in it behind. It also hasn't been swept in a while.
@philgaimon La Grange had a Piuma hill climb event with about 75 riders that finished at Saddle Peak. I was there, but probably still bringing up the rear when your photo was taken. Definitely lots of riders out everywhere. Great day for it.
@TrentSiggard Not a school holiday at least for the high school. However, they start at 8:30, so 8-8:30 would be the busier time. My kids went to NP this morning and said traffic was fine.
@ai6yrham They definitely last a long time. We found one in Carrizo Plain that looked like it had been sitting out in the sun for 5 years and it still had plenty of fuel in it.
@VCVCCA @CityofTO@Kathynaoum4 Awesome. There is also a path on Flores that takes you into Conejo Creek North, so you could cut through the library area, but not sure if that would be all that helpful.
