In a few days, Emily will turn 9.

She had been in the kibbutz at a sleepover with her friends when the Hamas terrorists came.

She is now being held captive in Gaza by Hamas.

As a hostage, she will not have cake or a party. Instead, she's in a tunnel surrounded by adult men she doesn't know and god knows what they’re doing to her.

She hasn't seen her father in weeks; her main source of trust since her mother died of breast cancer.

She's afraid, alone, and vulnerable.

Our priority should be getting her home to her father, not groveling to the demands of terrorists.

She deserves to be safe.
