Our church hosted a congregational concert of praise through the Psalms earlier this year. The selections weren’t random—they traced the Psalter’s narrative arc by using the “seam Psalms” that tie together its five books.
The music was newly composed by our Director of Music, Ron Owen, with narration written by Pastor @JustinBorger.
I hope you enjoy this recording of Songs of the King!

The most resilient approach I’ve found is to use Notion as your knowledge base and connect Claude to it via MCP. When you need something from the data (ask a question, generate documents, etc), you can’t ask it to reference Notion and it has a solid reference data source.
There’s the added benefit of being able to utilize Notion with more properties such as topic, date preached, etc. Not to mention the other items you’ll want to keep organized/have AI reference as you begin as Stated Clerk. Happy to help if you ever need any.
Spaces helped define context, Tidy Tabs helped clear chaos.
I ended up with two Spaces (Personal + Work) and dozens of tabs.
What if there was a middle layer—a way to manage mental context, not just tab storage?
Something lightweight enough to manage tabs around a single project or theme, but more structured than a simple collapsible folder. A kind of “micro-space” that lives within your main workspace.
I think I was talking about the "Tidy/Organize Today Tabs" (broom icon) in Arc—it was very helpful because it gave me a kickstart into tab organization without having to overcome the "where do I even begin?" feeling, which is how I feel with manual tab groups.
Oh, Ken—what a guy!
I'd love the chance to meet and grab a cup of coffee when you're in town.
@RevBCD@TaylorBurdett3@Protestia Brother, this is an uncharitable claim against the CFP. As Presbyterians, we have a process: a court tried the case and convicted, with appeal pending. Calling fouls and motives from a distance without the full facts is unwise.

Much will be said about @johnmacarthur in the coming days. His ministry was appreciated by many, and while he wasn’t always a theological home for me, his long faithfulness is something worth giving thanks for.
There is something to be learned from a man who spends 55 years in one pulpit, preaching the Word of God, caring for the same congregation, Lord's Day after Lord's Day. That kind of steadiness is not common today.
His life and death remind us that the calling of a pastor is not to be novel, but to be faithful—not to chase relevance, but to cling to the Word. His legacy is worth remembering not because he was extraordinary, but because his faithfulness reflected, however faintly, the perfect faithfulness of the God he proclaimed.
May his example encourage many, in this day and in the years to come, to serve the church with patience, conviction, and hope in the sufficiency of Christ.
One of my favorite pictures of what the local church should feel like: Zach Byrd in rocking chairs outside the church office, chatting with someone on a spring day. #pcaga
I have a question about this. The PCA has around 2,000 churches. Many operate on modest budgets, while others are in a healthier financial position. But let’s say, conservatively, that each church gave just $500 toward the cost of General Assembly—that alone would total $1 million.
From both professional experience and research, renting a convention center capable of accommodating 2,500 attendees for 5 days typically costs between $750,000 and $1.25 million.
Why is it difficult for a denomination of our size to fund General Assembly through a modest, shared contribution of $500–$1,000 per church—especially when that doesn’t even include registration fees?
