📸JULY 4TH WEEKEND AMERICA 250 PHOTOGRAPHY TIMELINE CLEANSE📷
America the Beautiful!🇺🇸🎆🫡
Continuing my Independence Day weekend exploration of America's beauty through my own photographs, I want to explain why most of my natural beauty shots are of the Pacific Coast and the Mountain West.
The bottom line answer is that while I have spent most of my life living on the East Coast, it was not until I moved westward that I got into digital landscape photography.
Still, the East Coast and the Heartland have their own distinct natural beauty, particularly in the form of fall colors--colors the trees of the West simply cannot match.
This shot is along the C&O Canal just outside of Washington DC amidst peak fall colors.

Today has special meaning for me and my family. On 9/11 my younger brother Gary was murdered by Jihadists simply for being American. He went to work that beautiful Tuesday morning pursuing the American dream. To succeed, and build his life in the greatest country on earth. Jealousy begets hatred and he was killed along with 657 other Cantor Fitzgerald employees for being American and working in the globally famous twin towers of the World Trade Center.
America deserves to be loved, she deserves to be protected and she deserves our appreciation because America is the world’s shining light. Imagine a world without America, it becomes very dark very quickly. America is the beacon of freedom beaming across the globe. This is who we are, and why we take the actions we do. There is only one nation that delivers on the American Dream. There is only one nation fighting for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. There is only one America and today is her birthday. And I could not be more proud to be her son.
Tel Aviv is breathtaking, isn't it?
This is what a city in the Middle East looks like when its people are focused on progress and prosperity instead of building terror tunnels and rockets.
Egypt's coach waving the Palestinian flag after their win in World Cup yesterday 👇
Fun fact: Egypt has built a 7-layered wall on its border with Gaza to make sure not a single Palestinian refugee crosses into Egypt 🤡
Happy 250th birthday, America! We got you a present. 🇺🇸
The red, white, and blue stars of this globular cluster shine like a sparkler waved on a dark night in this image from @NASAHubble, released in celebration of the United States' 250th anniversary.
This is absolutely insane and beautiful. 2500 drones putting on a jaw dropping show over North Richland Hills Texas for America 250. Bald eagle, rocket, Uncle Sam saying I Want USA, George Washington, astronauts on the moon, and more.
Texas knows how to celebrate freedom. This is next level patriotism.
Happy 4th of July yall! God bless America!
🔥🇺🇸
250 years ago, a bold idea changed the course of history. Today we celebrate the people, principles, and enduring promise of the United States of America.
Happy 4th of July from the White House. 🇺🇸
