Everybody thinks they’re owed something nowadays…playing time, scholarships, senior night, awards…what ever happened to earning what you get? Even in a program that is 258-91 over past 11 years, is a public school, and doesn’t recruit players…and parents still think they know better than the coaching staff. Travel baseball and entitlement has warped the mind of so many. Has made it very difficult to coach at HS level … where winning matters…It’s truly sad. Coaches are exiting the profession in droves, right behind the umpires.
Championship cultures have only one team rule that players and coaches strictly adhere to…
Don’t do anything, on or off the field, that would embarrass yourself, your teammates, coaches, family, or community.
@nextlevelbb That’s the system that has been created. If you don’t like your playing time, quit and go elsewhere. It’s never a matter of how good you are or how hard you work, just blame it on someone else and quite/move on. Now you know why we have 50%+ divorce rate in this country
Last day of work at NRCA. It’s been a great 22 years as a parent, coach, teacher & administrator. Thanks to all the students, families, teachers & administrators for making it so special. We’re going to miss you all. #GoKnights#nrcaknights#nrcaathletics@nrcaknights
As a team gather together and ask yourselves on a scale of 1-10 how well do we communicate. Then talk about what would make it a 10. You’ll get a lot of great ideas to improve your communication and relationships.
