A lot of people make huge mistakes because they weren’t allowed to make small mistakes when they were kids. Many parents try so hard to protect their kids from the pain of hard lessons that they never develop wisdom and toughness that come by experiencing failure. -Rachel Cruze
Young coaches…don’t chase talent, don’t chase what schools have done in the past, don’t chase facilities. That can all be changed…INSTEAD chase good people, and most importantly, Chase GOOD ADMINISTRATORS. That’s free
Back in June (yes, as in four months ago) when @coachvpaschal took the Heber Springs job, he told me that they were teaching their QB’s how to take a snap under center.
The Panthers are now tied w/ Harding Academy for 1st in the 4A-2 and they square off next week. #arpreps

Mentally tough people aren’t more talented. Just more consistent. Even those with the most mental toughness aren’t immune to adversity. Everybody experiences adversity, but they learn to embrace criticism & be flexible, adaptable. Train your mind to work for you, not against you!
Good teachers know their lesson plans. Great teachers know their students.
Good coaches know X's and O's. Great coaches know their players.
Good leaders know their vision. Great leaders know their team.
Your people make the difference. They matter. Remind them that you care.
PARENTS: If you tend to blame others, then your kids will most likely blame others. If you make excuses, your kids will likely make excuses, also. If you fail to act responsibly, your kids will most likely avoid taking responsibility for their actions. Your kids are watching 👀

I may get the answer someday, but I don't understand why Wynne worked so hard to get rid of one of the most respected and winningest football coaches in the State. Van Paschal did the right thing tonight and resigned. Why work where you are not wanted ?
