Marc Trestman on a Daily Coach presentation. “When you come to the sidelines you’re not going to meet the enemy.” For whatever reason, when players come off the field after a play/inning that goes poorly, they often get ripped. IMO that’s generally not a productive technique. The buck stops at the coach’s desk. Pupil failure, teacher failure. Teach/coach better, recruit better. Coach to get 100% of what that player has on that particular day. It’s easy to support players when they are performing well. Where they need it most is when they are not performing well. #Thedailycoach

How much pain can you tolerate?

The bigger the dream, the more pain you must be able to tolerate.

It’s not easy being in the arena.

There’s a reason why the man in the arena gets attacked as much as he does.

Most days it sucks.

Some days it’s good.

But a few days it’s a HIGH that words can’t describe.

It’s not for everyone.

But if you have a big vision with big dreams, you lose the moral authority to complain about the pain it brings.

This is why you can’t do it alone.

You need God.

You need a good support system.

You need to be emotionally stable.

Avoid blaming.

Take responsibility.

Stay positive.

Chin up.

And if you’re able to do this consistently for long periods of time, the future will look bright!
