@REALIanMcKeag The marinade should include 1 tsp of the salt, and the remaining 1/2 teaspoon should go into the rice. Very occasionally, something like this gets past me, my editor, and my copy editors — apologies for the confusion!

@EdibleSense Ugh! Also fyi, those aftermarket accessories that go on top of the steam valve are not safe, and neither is putting a towel over the pot to stifle the steam.
