''#1'' the beginner's guide fan (game by @HelloCakebread)
this acc contains rambles about TBG and stuff
will be reposting ANYTHING related to it. hello.
Just watched the finale and wow.
I won't comment too much about it as this is, well, a The Beginner's Guide focused account, but it was a wonderful and bittersweet finale.
I love how the lampposts weren't too plot relevant, despite being in all of the teasers -
I truly do think it's also a funny representation of the TADC fandom, with how wacky some theories would get -- analyzing every little thing when truthfully there wasn't anything there. It's poetic in a way? -
Still waiting for ep9 on YT so this may be cornplating for those who did see it
But will say that, in The Beginner's Guide, lampposts were a recurring motif that represented misunderstanding the purpose of art by needing to over-analyze & construct just one "solution" out of it
This prison, funny enough, in Coda's original design the door stayed shut for a full hour before letting you go. If you don't mind I think we're gonna skip that.
@giovan_h Absolutely thorough and wonderful read!! Just wanted to say real quick I absolutely love that you included Coda's dots appearing in The Stanley Parable!! Thank you for writing about a very special game to me and others <3
People have been wanting to talk with me about The Beginner's Guide and I could not be happier to revisit this game and give it the deep dive it deserves. The Beginner's Guide is about so many different things and they're all interesting, at every layer. https://t.co/YL69vm2nyv
