Sharing the progress on my road to $1k MRR currently working on

[Jorge @codebyjorge]

I have seen many ppl repost this and not sure why but it seems to be working so let's test it.

I'm 30.

solo founder from Canada 🇨🇦

If you're a builder, indie dev, parent, or just here to make interesting connections then let's connect

[Hauke 🌱🦀 @haukejung]

Maybe it's known issue but why does the codex app take so much ram?

Mine is currently sitting at 36GB and more than half of that is swap because I only have 16GB

Anyone has a fix for this or should I just ask codex to fix codex

[Jorge @codebyjorge]

@betomoedano @matte_app Thank you

[Jorge @codebyjorge]

@skpnky Ask X:
"what do you do when you cant find something to post?"😆

[Jorge @codebyjorge]

@Martin_Makes_M Yeah I assumed so and maybe is for the better then

[Jorge @codebyjorge]

I’ve barely been posting, but I’ve lost 20 followers in 2 days.

I get unfollowing someone who’s constantly filling your timeline. But if I’m barely showing up, what reminds you to go unfollow me?

I'm not upset I'm really just curious

[Jorge @codebyjorge]

@peturgeorgievv If that's what's happening then I welcome that.
No need more bots in my timeline or comments

[Jorge @codebyjorge]

@betomoedano Good idea but a logistics nightmare

[Jorge @codebyjorge]

@loganstakeley I wished it was as easy in Canada

[Jorge @codebyjorge]

Has anyone here submitted their app to be featured on the AppStore?

How did it go?

[Jorge @codebyjorge]

@seanallen_dev This reminded me of the old days where you can jailbreak your iPhone and install Cydia packages

[Jorge @codebyjorge]

@arham_humayun99 I'm not sure how accurate it is but if you want to grow followers you have to have the blue checkmark because the algorithm and monetization favour this sadly

[Jorge @codebyjorge]

@_anderberg I think this might be true for updates but not for first time apps

[Jorge @codebyjorge]

Well this app was supposed to be ready by shipaton but I guess taking almost a month for an approval is the norm now.

Should've known better

[Jorge @codebyjorge]

@yesadok It is, thankfully is now resolved an app is live but 25 days is a bit too much mostly because the rejection was they not being able to read instructions

[Jorge @codebyjorge]

@yesadok Yeah someone is making money for sure but how long till this is no longer sustainable at this prices

[Jorge @codebyjorge]

What if AI is the biggest Ponzi scheme ever and we’re all too invested to question it?

[Jorge @codebyjorge]

@ChadAppDev Nope it's been 2 weeks and still waiting for a reply

[Jorge @codebyjorge]

@samongaro_ Since coding is just writing fancy text and llm is great at that then no theirs is nothing .
Programming however has a lot of parts that ai will probably never master unless we achieve super intelligence.
