So basically, today PHP got two critical bugs that let anyone run code on your server without even logging in, which is bad, and then the details leaked before the patch was even out, which is worse, and it works on WordPress and MediaWiki and Magento and Joomla and Laravel, and Censys says like 1.5 million servers are running a version with no fix, so the NSA was like "take your system offline," and the FBI was like "take your system offline," and CISA and the UK and CERT-EU were all like "take your system offline," and then the Prime Minister of Japan, the actual Prime Minister, posted at 5:55 in the morning telling 48.8 million people to take their system offline, so everyone took their system offline, like the Dutch cybersecurity agency took its own website offline, and the Dutch parliament went offline, and the Port of Rotterdam went offline, and Finland and France and Denmark started pulling government sites, and Wikipedia went down, and https://t.co/QlOXb3COq3 went down, and Asana and GOG and Something Awful went down, and the University of Vienna's webmail went down for some reason, and that's just PHP. Because GitLab also dropped a CVSS 10.0, which is the highest score they give out, for a bug that's been there since 2014, so that's every self-hosted GitLab for twelve years, and then LiteLLM 1.107.0 got hijacked and shipped a credential stealer and a remote access trojan in every single wheel and the Docker images, including latest, and you didn't even have to import it, just installing it was enough, and it's the second time this year, and then Railway paused every deployment on the entire platform because someone got into the environment variables, so now everyone has to rotate every secret they've ever stored there, and TiDB Cloud said someone was walking around inside with stolen credentials for basically a month and an extortion group says they took 10.6 terabytes, and Zeabur got breached for the second time in two months and is just shutting down, like the whole company, and Node.js patched remote code execution and a TLS bypass, and CISA says Plex is being actively exploited, and someone took over 300 Tor exit relays to steal SSH passwords, and SafePay ransomware has hit over 600 critical infrastructure orgs, and India's biggest bank filed a data loss incident, and Japan has been in an official state of emergency in cyberspace since October 9, which honestly explains the 5:55 AM post. Oh, and eMudhra, a certificate authority that's issued over 60 million certificates, whose entire job is proving websites are who they say they are, was supposed to be using private keys that are random numbers over a hundred digits long, and one of them was 4. Just 4. And the others were like 66 and 237. Anyway, it's Wednesday.
MTN is using these pop up messages to scam elderly people into subscribing for services they don’t understand.
MTN is a big fraud
Everyday I’m cancelling one subscription or another in my mum’s phone.
@Adebayoadesanya@okekecc@ConsumersNCC Lol! It went exactly according to plan! All those projects you see are vehicles to embezzle. None of them were setup for success. Not billions wasted, billions embezzled. Once you understand this, you’ll understand why it is not in their interest to receive constructive feedback
@melodyogonna Lool. The Chinese have started scaling up. Give them at most 2 years. Starlink will have VERY SERIOUS competition. The Russians are in the game too but following a more militaristic approach.
At 32 I was editing Papa Ajasco and Super Story, trying to become a director.
One night officers who had been drinking shot me through my car. I am 47 now. The hand is dead. I edit with my left hand for $10 and $20 so my children can eat. I won in court.
The police have ignored the judgment since 2015. The officer’s name is in their own report. Ayuba Philip ID 257745.
Please tag em until @TunjiDisu1 & @CspIniedu see this impunity. Thank you

@emperor_enedo@just_lawson__ STFU. If you know anything about the CIA, you will know they are an opportunistic agency. If there was no promise or even success, they would not invest to own. Afrobeat was already big before it was infiltrated.
@YaBoyGus_@CAMELCASTOff Loool. You lack any form of self preservation. He should walk away when someone aggressive picks up a dangerous projectile. STEWPID much!!!
For the sake of national security; a foreign nation is NOT supposed to own compromising files on YOUR President. Talk more of one that President DESPERATELY wants to keep a secret.
@debryan_dennis@wolfiesansa@UnpaidPhilosphr If men decide women won’t stop giving birth, I assure you, they would keep giving birth. American and British slavers literally did this!!
Almost 15 countries condemned the attack in Niger State in which dozens were killed. But many Nigerians are unaware that such an attack happened because the media refused to report it.
We’re in a serious crisis under this government!
I have consistently continued to respectfully appeal to those in office today to prioritise reconstruction and maintenance of existing roads and other infrastructure over commencing new ones.
I left someone in Onitsha on Saturday night to take the first bus to Lagos on Sunday morning. Until I left Lagos at 8 pm yesterday, he had not arrived in Lagos. He only arrived in Lagos at about 2 pm today. A journey that usually takes a maximum of 8 hours now takes nearly two days.
This is not just about bad roads. It is about lost man-hours, stranded passengers sleeping on highways, wasted fuel, damaged vehicles, delayed goods, and businesses losing millions of naira.
Nigerians do not need new projects just for the headlines. We need functional roads that make life and economic activity possible.
A government must understand that infrastructure is not necessarily about the size of the project; it is about the number of lives and livelihoods it improves.
A new Nigeria is POSSIBLE, and Nigeria will be OK. -PO
