So there's something I have realized about the tech world.... Everyone just wants to help each other grow...Tbh since I started my journey as a programmer, every single developer I meet just wants to make sure you're advancing...

Please don’t call someone you don’t know “babe” or “baby”. This is a huge deterrent for women in the tech industry especially. We want to be respected. These pet names are not endearing. They’re deflating.
A surprisingly large part of having expertise in a topic is not so much knowing everything about it but learning the language and sources well enough to be extremely efficient in google searches.

messed up on my homework, tried to send the fixed file to my professor but gmail wouldn't send it 😠
and then I realized "oh yeah, it's a script file, makes sense why it won't send" lol 😩
@thomasfuchs lots of Japanese nouns are just loanwords, and not even necessarily English loanwords - pan is a loanword from french, for bread, and arubaito is loaned from german "Arbeit" for part-time job :-) lots of fun examples like that!
