Over a few years, the woman's inability to resolve differences to her satisfaction eventually boils over in any confrontation, even minor ones like this. They need couples therapy, preferably not with a typical feminist therapist.

@ThanosOptions @JaneyMackWriter There's nothing preventing someone from planting grafted trees in their yard. I would imagine most trees sold are created that way-- Why would you plant a Honeycrisp tree (for example) if you couldn't eat the fruit?
