Problem: So I've created a dropdown menu in https://t.co/dh2mdmABbA and in my previous tweet you see the output. But when I copy and paste the code into vs code. For some reason, the css won't show up. Would anyone happen to know why?

I just refreshed the page and there it was. Not only did I see the first submenu appeared but also the second submenu. I suppose this is my first taste in the life of a developer. I'm anticipating that I'll have many more moments like this. That'll be fun..

I even copy and pasted the code to VS code and somehow the output looked even worse! Saying I was frustrated would be an understatement to say the least. But I didn't stop. I found out that the issue was that for some reason codepen wasn't automatically updating the output.
