Create crisis... Tax for more money to fix it ...create budget crisis... Blame the rich... Gain more control over population.

@SparkyBru Start with migration in Colorado. Folks from states they didn't like (California mainly) then they weren't smart enough or aware enough to know why they didn't like those states. They set about modifying Colorado to have the exact same policies that screwed up California.

Then you top it off with blame the rich...it always comes back to this....because they see it as the way to cover the budget defects they created.

3. Manufactured crisis.
Trans issues. Forcing this to be talked about all the time and convincing folks it was a huge crisis diverts from real issues.
Environment. All growth and prospering is bad for the earth.
Wildlife management... The animals are more important than people.

2. Homelessness.

The problems came with policy changes. Colorado was always kind to folks in need...but did not let them take over massive areas and give them checks to stay there. Again screwing the budget and creating a problem that they don't have the stones to fix.

1. Immigration. Colorado has been extremely diverse for a long time. But all (most) were here illegally. Then sanctuary city type philosophies began to prevail around Denver. Then the costs of that began to explode... Then they budget is screwed...
