Most DAOs today are meh. They don't get the benefits of a top-down team moving fast, nor the benefits of ecosystem-wide innovation.

The power of ecosystems is outside-in innovation, it's being able to mobilise resources (ideas, capital, motivation) from beyond a small centralised team.

However, this requires transparency and mechanisms that enable the wider ecosystem to collaborate.

Without transparency, the ecosystem can't sense make, it can't define problems, it becomes a huge waste of time!

The fear of competition leads to secrecy and moving more slowly. Those working behind closed doors don't realise that speed and collaboration are winning capabilities in rapidly evolving markets.

Ironically, Web2 organisations that enabled Swarm capabilities for ecosystem-wide innovation are thriving.

Study Haier - from a mediocre Chinese factory to Fortune 500 and #1 IoT company in the world.

Study Constellation Software - compounding value like a machine to the point that their biggest threat is having too much money for their business model to deploy.

Swarms are the future. Don't stay behind in fear.
