Today, we remember a legend.
On this day in history, Harambe would have celebrated another birthday. An icon that became part of internet history, American culture, and an entire generation’s timeline.
Tomorrow marks 10 years since we lost him. Ten years since the moment the world stopped scrolling and collectively mourned something bigger than a meme.
He became a symbol of loyalty, strength, chaos, unity, and the strange beauty of the internet bringing millions of people together for one cause: never forgetting Harambe.
Everyone remembers where they were when they heard the news. And somehow, a decade later, his legacy still lives on.
Gone, but never forgotten.
Rest easy to a true patriot. 🕊️🇺🇸

Forever in our hearts.
The story of Europe, straight from a dinner I attended:
- 1960s: no products. Let’s build. Factories, real value, heavy industry booming.
- 1970s: growth brings labor rights. "We built it, now let’s share it". Unions.
- 1980s: marketing era. We have products, "let’s sell them better". Mad Men everywhere.
- 1990s: finance guys. "Let’s trade it, flip it, leverage it". Gordon Gekko decade.
- 2000s: no new production, ALT. "Let’s split what we already have". Business lawyers rise.
- 2010s: crises everywhere. "Let’s regulate it all". EU as stability machine.
Told by an Italian engineer in his 60s yesterday. It made me reflect and I wanted to share it "as is"...

Register all your valuables in a central EU register to help with financial transparency! Bank accounts, shares, cars, precious metals, bitcoin, works of art, your tacky Rolex, register it all so we can fight money laundering. Coming soon, maybe.

@paddi_hansen Is there a specification which cryptocurrencies fall in which category, or any examples?
Would be really helpful to know how for example the 10 biggest cryptos are qualfied under mica and what applies to them.
EU apparatchiks aim to sneak a terrifying mass surveillance measure into law despite UNIVERSAL public opposition (no thinking person wants this) by INVENTING A NEW WORD for it—"upload moderation"—and hoping no one learns what it means until it's too late. Stop them, Europe!
.@UBS's bid for @CreditSuisse falls short. I would like to propose my own offer of $1.5 billion to acquire Credit Suisse and integrate it into the Web3.0 world. Switzerland has been one of the most crypto-friendly countries in the world.
