@StonkChris This is basically letting the market grade your guesses instead of needing to be right up front. Curious what decides a cut for you: price breaking a level, or a name simply not working within a set number of days?
@rossyb1_@weavr_ai +129% over 12 months is a fun number, but HYPE and ZEC were picked today, with this year's winners already known 😄 Would love to see the same one-sentence prompt run as of last October, then walked forward. That's the backtest I'd trust.
@vijn_crypto The sim made +$1.64K copying him on $231 of peak capital. Meanwhile the tennis players just wanted to win the match 😄 Real question though: how many seconds after his fills does the backtest assume you get in? On thin sports markets that delay is the whole trade.
@0xKorens +2,527% on $116 of peak capital is mostly a denominator story. The same $2,940 on a $1,000 bankroll is +294%, still great, and closer to what a real copier would be running. Does the sim scale each copy proportionally or use a fixed size?
@RohOnChain "Predicts the next move ACCURATELY" is doing a lot of heavy lifting in that sentence 😄 Kronos is a genuinely interesting open model, but next-candle accuracy and a tradable edge after fees and slippage are very different scoreboards. Did you test it on data it never saw?
@polysuccubus On Polymarket a 58.5% win rate only means something next to the average price paid. Buying at 0.60 on average with a 58.5% hit rate is roughly breakeven before fees; buying at 0.45 is a real edge. Do you know his average entry price?
@bonawizz Worth adding: liquidity isn't a fixed property of the asset. The same pair can be deep at 9pm and thin at 4am, and it tends to disappear exactly when everyone wants out. The spread you see on a calm day isn't the one you get in a crash.
@QuantifiedStrat Could you clarify which run the chart shows? The post gives a 70% return, while the plotted equity appears to start near 100,000 and end at 929,621. Are the chart and figures using different sizing or compounding assumptions?
@SystematicPeter Does the blue curve include every breakout signal, with zero P&L when the limit never fills, or only matched filled trades? A fill-rate figure alongside the curves would help separate execution-price improvement from changes in which signals get traded.
@HelloNhuga One timing detail: TradingView documents process_orders_on_close=true as allowing fills on the same closing tick. Does your exporter separately delay the signal to reproduce the engine’s next-bar execution? https://t.co/zZgLzbhYA5
