Insisting on only reading CLAUDE.md sometimes leads to split brain problems when different team members use different tools. Just unnecessary.

They can and will now legally scan any person's messages, emails and photos you send without a warrant

The way they passed this law when the majority of the European Parliament was against it will shock you:

They waited until most EP members were on holiday so only a few were present and then created an "urgent" vote for it to pass it through

There's nothing democratic about any of it and big powerful forces are behind this that can manipulate the EU for whatever they want

As many of you know I have been traveling in Eastern Europe and the Balkans. I plan to write an article on what I saw in general, but one thing has come through loud and clear, over and over and over. That is this:

The Ottoman Empire ravaged these nations and peoples in every possible respect: physically, economically, culturally, socially, you name it. Entire cities were razed to the ground with their inhabitants obliterated. The Ottomans bragged about enslaving Eastern European women, dragging them back to Turkey and forcing them to submit to Islam. I have heard at least ten times on this trip about how that is why there are blue-eyed Turks.

The Ottoman Empire only fell in 1922. That means that for many older Eastern Europeans this savagery was in the living memory of their grandparents.

We don’t learn about this history in the West, but it is an omnipresent specter for these nations I have visited.

So when leftist Americans or Western Europeans complain about Eastern Europe’s unwillingness to take in Muslim migrants, they must realize what Eastern Europe has endured historically and why they believe they have excellent reasons for keeping those barriers up.

🇪🇺 ChatControl is back!

Now they're trying to pass an even more far reaching ChatControl law through the back door, in a form even more intrusive than the originally rejected plan, without needing any of the EU countries votes

The new proposal:
- total mandatory surveillance of ALL text chats, emails and social media in the EU
- obligatory registration of your ID/passport to your chat, email or social media account
- minimum age requirement for chat, email and social media apps of 16 (!)

The only way to stop this law is if EU countries veto it

To name some:
- The processor architecture fits the usuall target architecture on the server, so what you write and compile works flawlessly.
- Docker on Mac works simply worse.
- Disk access performance in macOS dealing with many small files is very bad. It works better using a Linux VM in macOS than natively.
- No restrictions from macOS sandboxing or codesigning.

If you are not making iOS/macOS apps or spending 8h on the street, there is little reason to go for a Mac.

@robin_schreiner @KhalidWarsa @tmarkovski Still can be solved by triggering the SSO options while having the password field still visible. Trigger the SSO check once the focus is no longer on the email field, if anything is detected for that email - redirect to the SSO provider.
