We paid homage to the late George Onyango Onyango of Ugunja Ward.
George was an accomplished administrator, a role model, and a great entrepreneur who served his people diligently for many years as the area councillor.
Fare thee well.
Glad and delighted to have finished a course on Economics for Public Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
Some of the areas we covered include;
Markets - The Economic principles underpinning real world market behaviour and possible interventions, Tools to regulate the markets, Taming market Power and others.
Information Asymmetry in the markets and how unequal access to information shapes transactions. We also explored how such challenges should be mitigated.
Economic growth - We explored various Economic growth theories and models. How to foster Economic growth, Public Policy design among others. This was done while comparing real world Economies that have grown in the recent past including in Asia and others that have been developed for a longer time.
London School of Economics (LSE) modelled the course in practical, precise but also robust manner that allows for broad discussions and debate among learners.
Much more was covered.

I have received, with profound humility and heartfelt gratitude, the overwhelming concern, prayers, and messages of goodwill that have poured in regarding my health. Your compassion has been a powerful source of strength to me and my family.
In the spirit of openness and honesty that should guide all who serve the public, I wish to share that I recently underwent a medical procedure following an illness. By God’s grace, I am now on the path to recovery, and I remain hopeful and determined to resume my public duties in the new year. I am deeply thankful for every prayer, every message, and every expression of solidarity—your kindness has meant more to me than words can fully convey.
As I heal, my heart is especially with all Kenyans who have spent this Christmas season in hospital beds, away from their loved ones. I pray that God grants you healing, renewed strength, and comfort, and that your families are filled with hope during this challenging time. No Kenyan should ever feel alone in suffering, and no family should be driven to despair because of illness. We must continue to stand together, bound by faith, compassion, and our shared humanity.
Jeremiah 30:17: "I will give you back your health and heal your wounds,' says the Lord".

We invited the families of the late Vincent Otieno Ogutu,Evan Onyango Kiche, Josfae Jida Burka and Josephine Akeng'o to Chungwa house today. They were among those killed in the course of mourning Baba at Kasarani and Nyayo Stadium. We extended our condolences and support on behalf of the entire @TheODMparty family especially in the search for justice for these needless deaths.
Sen Oburu Oginga: I would like to express my disappointment in the events that took place yesterday. Raila should not be teargassed in death. He has been teargassed enough when he was alive, please let us not cause a situation where he is teargassed again when we are escorting him
Today and every day, we honor the courage and leadership of girls who rise, even in the face of challenges like limited access to education, health services, and equality. 🌍💪💫
Because when girls rise, the world rises too!

If you have good people in your life, cherish them. The ones who go out of their way to help without expecting anything in return. The ones who stay out of the spotlight and don’t care about any credit for the good they’ve done. Pray for them. Thank the Almighty for bringing them into your life.
