Getting back into #searchlistening analysis recently saw me dig into Met Gala looks - but back in the day we analysed searches around lockdowns and vaccines. Yesterday's news opens a door for monitoring & analysis around the election - we'll be updating our tracker daily...
TL;DR - we use it plenty to drive efficiency and help with planning, but never for end-to-end content creation and we'll always advise clients similarly. That's despite Google's record of sometimes saying one thing and doing another in terms of what it rewards in the SERPs.
